FINE WINES & VINTAGE CHAMPAGNES
We have good stocks of vintage Clarets e.g. Chateau Durfort-Vivens 1986, Chateau Margaux 1992, Chateau Haut-Marbuzet 1991, Chateau Lynch Bages 1985, Chateau Les Forts de Latour 1994, Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande 1993 and many others.
Stocks of Sauternes include Chateau Sigalas-Rabaud 1980 and Chateau Rabaud-Promis 1983.
Burgundies - red and white - include - Chassagne-Montrachet Grand Cru 1993 by Philippe d'Argenval, Mercury 1er Cru 1993 by Modrin, Gevrey-Chambertin 1990 by Laboure-Roi and 1991 by Philippe Naddef, Hospice de Beaune 1998 Grand Cru by Moillard-Grivot and many others.
We can offer Sauternes in Magnums from 1983 as well as the most highly rated Saint-Emilion of Chateau Beau-Sejour Becot Grand Cru 1979 and 1981 and Domaine de la Gaffeliere 1982 Grand Cru. In Clarets we offer Chateau La Lagune 1981 Grand Cru, Chateau Ramage la Batisse 1997 Grand Cru plus Chateau de Chantegrive 1996 Grand Cru of Graves and 1979 Chateau Lagrange of Saint-Julien.
These wines have been properly stored in cellar, free of draughts, sunlight and temperature fluctuations. All bottles are above the shoulder with seals and corks intact.
We hold vintage Champagne from 1995, 1997, 1998 and 2000. All Blanc-de-blancs from such famous houses as Mandois, Legras & Haas, Jean Vesselle and Herbert Beaufort - Grand Cru rated. All of which are mentioned and recommended by Sotheby's and Christie's in their premier wine books. All of our suppliers are small families who are amazing winemakers with exemplary reputations for sheer quality.
Any of these wines may be purchased individually or in mixed cases with prices on application.
We have special old Ports including a very rare magnum of 1975 made by Taylor, Fladgate & Yeatman.
We also have rare single malt whiskies such as the amazing Culloden Glenmorangie Bottle 1971 in a wonderfully carved box with the Culloden history on vellum - bottle No. 453 of only 2500 made. We also have a single malt called Ben Nevis 1972 bottle No. 194 of 242.
